CityVille Exploit, How To Get Free Items (Method 2, Using Chrome)

CityVille exploit, free items, method 2: 
How to get free CityVille items.

important! Have dummy CityVille accounts. (to be used as receivers of the requests you sent.)


In tutorial described here, we will change an energy_3 request to a lm_pearltower request. The request will be sent to your dummy neighbors.


This is second method, as an alternative to the first method (using Charles) with the same result. 

(note: to see images in full size, click above an image, a new window/tab will appear in browser.)


(1) Open Google Chrome.
(2) Enter an energy-3 ask-help URL (as shown below) into Chrome's Address bar, run the URL (copy-paste):

http://apps.facebook.com/cityville/request.php?action=default&itemName=energy_3&view=app&ref=&requestType=level_up

Wait until Chrome finish its connection. A CityVille request page will appear.

(3) Do not select any neighbors yet, do not click send-button yet, you have to change "energy_3" code to "lm_pearltower" first.


(4) In the Chrome's page, do a mouse right click above Send request area. Then select Inspect Element from drop-down menu.

An Inspect Element pane will appear in the bottom of the page.


(5) Enter this text: item=energy_3 in Search input-box in the upper-right corner of the pane. You will search all match words.

(6) If you are on right way, you should have 2 (two) matching results.

• First result is in javascript area, replace energy_3 with lm_pearltower (or any other item code you want). (as shown in picture below)
• Second result is in form tag. Replace energy_3 with lm_pearltower (or any other item code you want). (as shown in picture below)
• Below the second result, find this text: gift=energy_3. Do the same, replace energy_3 with lm_pearltower (or any other item code you want). (as shown in picture below)

So, there should be 3 text-replacements you've done.


How to replace text? Do a mouse double-click above energy_3 text. Or, another method by doing a mouse right-click and run Edit text from drop-down menu. Then an edit-cursor will appear, and you can type the replacement text.


(7) Press keyboard's ENTER after you done with a replacement typing.


(8) Close Inspect Element pane in Chrome. Back to CityVille's Send request area.


(9) Now, in the Chrome's page, select your dummy neighbors.


WARNING: Select only your dummy neighbors which is owned by yourself. Do not trust anybody other than yourself.
Many has been banned, because they sent requests to random neighbors, and then were reported to Z by those jealous neighbors.


(10) after making sure that you select only safe and correct dummy neighbors, you can click on the dark-blue Send Help Request button in browser's page.

Let the browser finishes its connection.


If you want to ask other items, repeat above steps for other item codes.


Remember, there's a 30 requests limit a day for CityVille request. You can send request to  the same neighbor once a day (once in 24 hours).


Redeeming your free items:
Log out your main account, and go open your dummies in browser (which were you selected as receivers in the above steps).
Open CityVille game, and wait for Message Center to open. Click all the appropriate Help them out buttons.

You should get a success message "You helped them out!"
If you get no message or error message then you fail. This maybe caused by you've requested a not-working item, or you have a connection problem, or.. Z has already patched this exploit.


After receiving all requests in all dummy neighbors, now go back to your main account. Your free items are in the Inventory.

Please do not show grediness, cheat only expensive/cash items. If you have enough coin or cash I recommend you to buy the items directly from CityVille game, to minimize this kind of naughty action.


Cheat the exploit at your own risk. Put a strict safety rules about neighboring by yourself, or you get banned due to be reported. Will be patched soon by Z, as usual.
